Kentucky Farm Share Coalition (KYFSC) is a community supported agriculture (CSA) program that helps farmers increase and stabilize their annual revenue while improving healthy food access for Kentuckians through partnerships for produce CSA. KYFSC encourages any Kentucky farmers curious about OR currently raising produce for CSA to explore ways to join the coalition, take advantage of member benefits, and engage in the KYFSC community!

MEMBERSHIP TYPES

Become a Kentucky Farm Share Coalition partner farm at one of three different levels

and gain access to specific membership benefits and a vibrant community of farmers

Endorsed Farm

Endorsed Farms have 3+ years of experience running a produce CSA and are partner farms for KYFSC's workplace CSA voucher program.

Benefits for Endorsed Farms:

  • Access to KYFSC workplace CSA voucher programs 

  • CSA pickup locations listed on KYFSC Map

  • Optional Website Audit to Improve CSA Customer Experience

  • Includes the benefits of Affiliated and Connected Farms

Requirements for Endorsed Farms:

  • Offer a 20+ week produce share during the main CSA season

  • Locally source 100% of the share items from KY-based farms or within 100 miles of the primary farm

  • 3+ years of experience running a produce CSA

  • Willingness to engage in KYFSC workplace CSA voucher programs

  • Be an existing or new Organic Association of Kentucky member

Affiliated Farm

Affiliated farms offer a CSA program and do not wish to participate in workplace CSA voucher programs but still want to engage with the KYFSC community. 

Benefits for Affiliated Farms:

  • Listing on OAK's Find-a-Farm Directory and CSA pickup map

  • Access to CSA marketing materials  

  • Opportunity to mentor other CSA farmers 

  • Includes the benefits of the Connected Farms

Requirements for Affiliated Farms:

  • Offer a produce CSA program to Kentucky customers 

  • Interest in engaging with the OAK and KYFSC network 

  • Be an existing or new Organic Association of Kentucky member

Connected Farm

Connected farms do not currently sell their products through a produce CSA, but are interested in learning more and connecting with KYFSC partner farms.  

Benefits for Connected Farms:

  • Opportunity to attend annual KYFSC farmer meeting and other OAK programming 

  • Ability to connect with other KYFSC farms and explore possible market opportunities 

  • CSA support from OAK organic production and technical assistance staff 

Requirements for Connected Farms:

  • Interest in engaging with the OAK and KYFSC network 

  • Be an existing or new Organic Association of Kentucky member
