Workplace CSA Program
CVG Airport Authority is excited to offer CSA shares as a health benefit for the upcoming CSA season. Employees interested in signing up for a weekly vegetable share will be able to apply a $200 voucher towards a weekly farm share and conveniently pick it up at the Centre Office on Wednesdays starting in May.

What is Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)?
​
A local produce subscription where members receive weekly deliveries of seasonal vegetables and some fruits for 20-22 weeks during the main growing season (May - October).
​
A model of buying food that is focused on community where a participant commits to a share and then becomes an important member of the farm for the whole season.
​
A weekly box of fresh, KY Proud, and certified organic vegetables. The items in a share are harvested at their peak ripeness and will often store longer and have more flavor than other produce.

Sizes:

Mini Share: Best for first-time members or small households who cook a few times per week.

Regular Share: Ideal for medium households or those who cook three or more times per week.

Robust Share: Good for larger households, those who cook five or more times a week, and members who are interested in food preservation. ​

Customization:
Each week, members can swap out vegetable items and swap in other vegetable items, add on additional farm items, pause share on vacation, and use credit in future weeks.

Pricing & Payment Details:
All employees can choose to pay for farm shares using payroll deduction or pay the farm directly.

Payroll Deduction: Participants can choose to pay their share balance through payroll deduction and will be asked to indicate this payment plan preference on the signup form.

Farm payment plan: Members can also opt to pay the farm directly and choose to pay in full at signup or pay in installments.

CSA Pick-Up Location
You can pick up your share at Office Centre every Wednesday or choose a nearby pick-up or home delivery for an additional fee. The farm and HR will notify participants when their share is ready for pickup.

How to Participate?

Claim a CSA Voucher: Employees can express interest in applying a $200 voucher toward an Elmwood Stock Farm vegetable CSA Share.

Sign up for a CSA share by March 6: All employees can sign up for a CSA share and apply their voucher if applicable.

Partner Farm
CVG Airport will be partnering with Elmwood Stock Farm to bring participants
weekly vegetable shares for the upcoming growing season.
Elmwood Stock Farm is a sixth-generation family farm situated just outside Georgetown, Kentucky. USDA Certified Organic since 2000, it produces wholesome vegetables, fruits, pantry items, pasture-raised eggs, poultry and pork, and grass-fed, grass-finished beef and lamb.
Mac and Ann Stone, Ann’s brother, John Bell, and a great support team produce healthy and delicious weekly CSA Farm Shares.
